With Valentines Day approaching fast, I need to decide if I should load up thePT Cruiser and pack my girl off to Eureka Springs or Branson for the weekend. Will you help me decide which is the more romantic place to woo your significant other.

Where is the best place to stay when you’re in love? What should we do for fun when roaming the streets? Where is the most romantic place for dinner?

Branson recently found 5.3 million people visit their town annually from over a 300 mile radius, which includes Northwest Arkansas.

Are tourist dollars skipping Northwest Arkansas in favor of Branson? It seems to me that Branson has had a huge impact on Eureka Springs tourism. At least compared to when I was a kid, and dad would take us to Dinosaur Land (originally called Land of Kong and now closed). You tell us what you think.

With a new Branson Airport opening soon, Branson expects an additional 15% above the 5.3 million will fly to Branson, a whopping 780,000 additional visitors and air passengers right off the bat.

Now for those of you that still think Branson is a cesspool for broke, old, toothless farts, yes, it is true that you will find the occasional “hick” in Branson. However, Branson claims the average person to visit Branson is your normal middle-class rural/semi-suburban family.
